ZYC to unveil SIMPO Pro S and highlight Victron VRM integration at All Energy

ZYC Energy has announced that its SIMPO 5000 battery system will integrate with Victron Energy’s VRM platform, providing enhanced monitoring and management capabilities.

ZYC Energy has announced that its SIMPO 5000 battery system will integrate with Victron Energy’s VRM (Victron Remote Management) platform, enhancing energy management solutions for both grid-connected and off-grid applications.

The versatile SIMPO 5000 is designed to integrate with Victron’s range of inverters, charge controllers, and system management devices for both on-grid and off-grid applications across Australia.

A key aspect of this integration is the ability for users to utilise Victron’s ESS (Energy Storage System) settings on GX devices to configure their systems.

The SIMPO 5000 has remarkable scalability. It allows for up to 64 units to be combined, reaching a total capacity of 327.6 kWh, addressing various energy storage needs in residential and commercial sectors.

Beyond scalability, the SIMPO 5000 is engineered to endure a wide range of climates, operating efficiently in temperatures as low as -10°C.

It also includes quick installation processes and automated setup functionality.

In grid-connected systems, users can utilise Victron’s ESS (Energy Storage System) settings on GX devices to configure their systems.

For off-grid applications, the integration of ZYC Energy’s batteries with Victron’s inverter/chargers and solar charge controllers provides a complete solution. Victron’s VRM platform offers remote management capabilities.

Technically, the partnership ensures compatibility across various Victron products. All 48V Multis, MultiPlus, Quattros, and RS models are compatible with the SIMPO 5000, with specified minimum firmware versions.

The system requires a GX device for communication, set at 500 kbit/s via the BMS-Can connection.

For solar charging, all 48V BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT Chargers are compatible with the SIMPO 5000.

ZYC Energy has also established partnerships with AC Solar Warehouse and RFI to distribute the SIMPO 5000 in Australia, providing local service and technical assistance to customers.

Additionally, AET has been appointed as ZYC Energy’s Premium Technical Partner and service provider for Queensland, serving as the technical advisor for all installers for ZYC Australia.

The SIMPO 5000’s automated setup functionality eliminates the need for complex app-based configurations. According to ZYC Energy, users can start running the system within minutes of installation.

Equipped with pre-wired DC busbars, the SIMPO 5000 offers high C-rate performance, aiming to maximise system power while minimising battery size.

ZYC Energy is also set to showcase its innovative SIMPO Pro S at the All Energy 2024 event.

The SIMPO Pro S is an advanced C&I energy storage system offering a robust 81.9kWh capacity in a single battery rack, designed to work seamlessly with up to three Victron Multi HS19 Solar units.

At the core of SIMPO Pro S’s versatility is its dual on-grid and off-grid functionality.

The system’s black start capability ensures reliable power supply even in off-grid installations.

This flexibility is enhanced by its highly integrated design, which incorporates batteries, inverters, MPPT controllers, cabling, and monitoring devices into a single rack, simplifying installation and reducing setup time.

Despite its compact size, the SIMPO Pro S delivers an impressive 1C high-power output, catering to demanding applications while maintaining efficiency.

The system’s smart Battery Management System (BMS) allows for automatic setup with just one click, streamlining the installation process.

The SIMPO Pro S also excels in scalability.

Its flexible design allows for easy expansion, with the ability to add one to three inverter units to accommodate project sizes ranging from 15kW to 45kW.

This adaptability makes it suitable for growing businesses or varying energy needs.

Furthermore, the system’s compatibility with Victron’s VRM system, which is expected to include support for the SIMPO 5000 in its next software update, adds another layer of functionality.

The partnership with Victron extends to the commercial inverter realm, with the Multi HS19 Solar designed to work in tandem with the SIMPO Pro S, further enhancing the system’s capabilities.

This combination of features positions the SIMPO Pro S as a versatile and efficient energy storage solution for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications in the Australian market.
