Is your organisation supporting the next generation of women in renewables?
The April 2026 edition of ecogeneration will once again shine a national spotlight on the women shaping Australia’s clean energy future and the organisations backing them.
This special Women in Renewables edition will feature in-depth editorial profiles of female industry leaders and companies actively building inclusive, future-ready teams.
Last year’s edition demonstrated strong female leadership across the sector:
At Stanwell Asset Maintenance Company, Andrea Tighe (Site Lead) and Bec Manley (Business Growth Manager) were profiled as leaders challenging the status quo in a traditionally male dominated field. Their story highlighted scholarships, mentoring networks and practical diversity initiatives designed to address Australia’s looming clean energy workforce shortage.
At OX2 Australia, led by Carla Evans (Senior Development Manager) shared how landmark projects such as the SEC Renewable Energy Park in Horsham were being delivered alongside a strong focus on community engagement and workforce diversity.
GHD outlined how diverse, talent focused teams are central to reshaping Australia’s power generation, transmission and storage systems, while coverage of the Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables Lunch at All Energy 2024 underscored the importance of advocacy and allyship.
