WATCH: Trinasolar secures top industry recognitions

Trinasolar, a global leader in photovoltaic manufacturing, has garnered multiple prestigious accolades in 2024, reinforcing its position at the forefront of world’s renewable transition.

The company has been named a 2024 Overall Highest Achiever by the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) for its Vertex N 625W modules.

This recognition follows last year’s award for the Vertex N 700W+ series, highlighting Trinasolar’s consistent excellence in delivering solid products.

According to RETC’s report, Vertex N 625W modules excelled in various tests, including ultraviolet-induced degradation (UVID), potential-induced degradation (PID), and thermal cycling.

RETC’s President and CEO, Cherif Kedir, praised Trinasolar’s performance.

“We are very happy and honoured to recognise Trinasolar as one of the overall highest achievers, so in terms of quality, reliability and performance, Trinasolar has ranked extremely high,” Kedir said, adding that Trinasolar’s products are one of the best performing products they have tested.

In addition to the RETC accolade, Trinasolar has been awarded Top Performer status by Kiwa PV Evolution Labs (Kiwa PVEL) for the tenth consecutive year.

The company’s Vertex N modules, particularly the Vertex N 720W series, received recognition in all seven test categories of Kiwa PVEL’s Production Qualification Program.

Further solidifying its industry standing, Trinasolar has achieved a top position in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Solar Module Manufacturer Ranking 2024.

The company’s success is attributed to its extensive manufacturing experience, vertical integration, and strong financial and ESG performance.

Cao Yunduan, head of global brand and marketing at Trinasolar, said the company is proud of these accomplishments.

“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to supplying customers with the highest quality and best-performing modules,” he said.

Trinasolar’s commitment to innovation is evident in its 26 world records and leadership in n-type i-TOPCon technology.

The company recently showcased modules with power output exceeding 760W+ at the SNEC event, demonstrating its continued push for higher efficiency and performance.

According to Trinasolar, globalisation is its main corporate strategy at heart.

“Trinasolar builds up its global presence from inception and has established production and manufacturing bases in various parts of the world to provide localised solutions and services to global customers,” the company said.

“Trinasolar, with its mission of Solar Energy for All, will continue to lead the industry with top-notch technology and advanced products, contributing its strength to a net-zero future.”
