One of Australia’s leading solar distributors, Supply Partners, has finalised a distribution agreement with Sungrow, a global leader in inverters and energy storage systems.
Under the terms of the agreement, which was signed during All Energy Australia 2023, Sungrow will supply 400MW of inverters to Supply Partners in 2024 and extends a partnership which dates back to 2012.
The agreement was formally signed by Supply Partners Director John Degotardi and Sungrow Australia Country Manager Joe Zhou.
Degotardi spoke highly on the two companies’ enduring partnership and its potential.
“Supply Partners Group are privileged with this contract, we are proud this year to have launched New Energy Training a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Australia and look forward to training and accrediting electricians on how to promote and install Sungrow inverters and batteries,” Degotardi said.
Zhou said Sungrow was looking forward to the opportunities generated by the partnership.
“The strong relationship between Sungrow and Supply Partners’ technical teams will build an effective product feedback loop, to better serve our Australian customers,” said Zhou.
Zhou and Degotardi both expressed strong confidence in the mutually beneficial long-term partnership with Sungrow’s products in the Australian market.
Sungrow will supply products covering residential, commercial and battery divisions, showcasing a commitment to broadening its reach in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, commercial energy storage space, and electric vehicle (EV) charging markets.
Supported by Supply Partners’ technical expertise, Sungrow is targeting an ambitious 50MWh of storage in the 2024 calendar year for C&I batteries under 5MWh.
