South Australia’s leading battery installers have been recognised in the SunWiz 2026 Top Battery Installers Awards.
Compiled using verified Clean Energy Regulator REC-Registry data, the annual rankings provide an independent snapshot of Australia’s battery installation market and recognise installers based on actual deployment volumes rather than nominations, judging panels or sponsor involvement.
SunWiz designed these rankings to help consumers identify experienced and trusted installers in a rapidly growing market.
Claiming the top position in South Australia was 1KOMMA5°, named the state’s number one energy storage system (ESS) installer. The company also secured the national number one ESS installer ranking and received additional recognition across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The business delivers solar, battery storage, electric vehicle charging, heat pumps and heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions through an integrated energy management platform. According to SunWiz, the company now supports more than 50,000 Australian households.
Arenergy was recognised among the state’s top 10 battery installers and also achieved Top 50 national ESS installer status. The company continues to maintain a strong presence in both the residential and commercial renewable energy sectors.
South Australian-owned Class A Energy Solutions secured a place in the state’s top 10 ESS installers. Founded more than 25 years ago, the company was also recognised among South Australia’s leading solar installers and received national recognition in the commercial solar sector.
VoltX Energy ranked within South Australia’s top 20 battery installers while also achieving a Top 5 national ESS installer ranking. The company’s strong national performance included securing the number two ESS installer position in New South Wales.
Solar Power Direct rounded out the list of leading South Australian installers, earning a place among the state’s top 10 battery installers. The company also received recognition for its residential solar installation activity and popularity among South Australian customers.
The latest rankings reflect the growing maturity of South Australia’s battery market, which remains one of Australia’s most advanced regions for distributed energy resources, rooftop solar and household energy storage adoption.
