The Clean Energy Council has opened nominations for a key position representing New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) signatories on its Distributed Energy Leadership Forum (DELF).

According to the Clean Energy Council (CEC), this position offers small and medium-sized energy businesses a voice in shaping Australia’s distributed energy future.

“The Distributed Energy Leadership Forum (DELF) guides the strategic position and advocacy of the Clean Energy Council’s Distributed Energy team. This includes recommending priorities for the distributed energy sector within the Clean Energy Council, with a timeframe of two to ten years,” CEC said.

The forum’s scope encompasses multiple aspects of clean energy, including solar power, energy storage systems, electricity distribution networks, and emerging grid edge technologies.

Members meet quarterly in person and may be called upon for additional consultations on specific projects, such as the “Powering Homes, Empowering People: National CER Roadmap”.

To qualify for the position, candidates must represent companies with fewer than 50 employees, hold Clean Energy Council membership at either Sponsoring, Corporate, Professional Services, or Associate level, and be current NETCC signatories.

Interested parties can submit their nominations through the Distributed Energy team by contacting Maxime Di Petta at mdipetta@cleanenergycouncil.org.au.
