ClearVue, a leading smart building materials company, has secured a nationwide manufacturing and distribution agreement in Australia.
This strategic partnership, formed with Safety Glass (which trades as MS Glass), a well-known glass processing specialist based in Victoria, marks ClearVue’s inaugural licensee in its home country.
Under the three-year agreement, with the potential for two five-year renewals, Safety Glass gains exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights for ClearVuePV solar integrated glass units (IGUs) across Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland, and the Australian Capital Territory.
Additionally, MS Glass is granted a sole license for distribution in Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory, along with a non-exclusive license for manufacturing and supplying products to ClearVue on an OEM basis for these territories and international markets.
Martin Deil, Global CEO of ClearVue, expressed satisfaction with partnering with MS Glass for the commercial rollout of their product along the east coast of Australia.
“MS Glass was one of four glass processors globally who shared their production facilities and industry knowledge with us, helping us understand IGU manufacture and enabling us to design a product that integrates seamlessly into existing production lines,” Deil said.
“We look forward to reporting to the market as and when new Australian projects are signed through MS Glass, both in the short term and over the years to come.”
This agreement is considered timely as ClearVue experiences rapid growth in its pipeline of opportunities nationwide.
Tania White, General Manager of MS Glass, conveyed enthusiasm about collaborating with ClearVue to introduce their cutting-edge solar photovoltaic glazing to the east coast market of Australia.
Over the past six to 12 months, MS Glass has actively marketed the product, engaging with end-customers and garnering notable levels of interest.
The manufacturing and distribution agreement with MS Glass solidifies ClearVue’s partnerships with key global licensees, including AIT Group in the US, H T Glass in Singapore, and OEM YY Windows in China.
