In a significant move aimed at transforming Australia’s solar market, global solar giant LONGi Green Energy and leading Australian PV distributor Raystech have announced an exclusive strategic partnership.
The groundbreaking agreement, signed on November 25 2024 at LONGi‘s headquarters in Xi’an, China, will see Raystech become the sole distributor of LONGi’s solar modules in Australia from 2025 onwards. Reciprocally, Raystech will exclusively feature LONGi products in its solar module portfolio.
“LONGi has always been at the forefront of technological advancements,” Raystech Chairman Mark Miao said.
“This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration, bringing our shared vision for a sustainable energy future to life.”
The innovative collaboration is driven by a mutual goal of creating a competitive edge in Australia’s dynamic solar market.
By combining LONGi’s technological prowess with Raystech’s extensive nationwide distribution network, the partners aim to ensure consistent product availability, stabilise pricing, enhance service quality, and introduce advanced solar technologies like LONGi’s high-efficiency HPBC 2.0 modules.
With over 30 per cent of Australian homes already adopting solar systems and continued growth in residential and commercial sectors, the partnership addresses key challenges.
It promises improved supply chain efficiency, simplified product offerings for installers and end-users, and an enhanced overall customer experience through consistent service and access to innovative technologies.
“Our exclusive agreement with Raystech reflects our commitment to delivering consistent quality and service to the Australian market. Together, we will set new benchmarks for innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction,” LONGi Chairman Zhong Baoshen said.
As the collaboration kicks off, the two renewable energy leaders aim to contribute to the sustainable development of Australia’s solar industry, fostering a healthier and more competitive ecosystem through their synergistic strengths.
