Korea’s largest diversified chemical company, LG Chem, has launched an online site dedicated to providing installers and distributers information about its products, including energy storage.
The LG ESS Partner Portal will provide detailed information about energy storage solutions including product information, warranties, manuals, product images and specifications to help support all activities across residential, commercial and industrial grid and UPS applications.
“The launch of this new portal enables installers and distributers to effectively explain and install LG Chem battery systems to the markets they operate in,” said LG Chem manager of Australian business development Changhwan Choi.
“Partners are an important part of our ecosystem hence it is crucial that we make investments to help them be successful in the storage business.”
The launch of the portal comes in conjunction with the introduction of a membership points program, LG ESS Partner Care Program. By registering with the portal distributors and installers can accumulate points in exchange for additional benefits such as price reductions and presentation materials.
LG Chem products are equipped with a serial code that can be entered into the portal to register the points.
Installers will receive points for selling LG Chem products and distributors will receive them when an installer buys products off them.
