JA Solar boosts rays of change on desert

JA Solar has successfully delivered 1 gigawatt of high-performance n-type photovoltaic (PV) modules for the Ulan Buh Desert Northeast New Energy Base, a landmark renewable energy initiative in China.

Spanning just 180 days from the first shipment in early 2024 to completion, the project demanded exceptional logistical coordination.

At its peak, JA Solar delivered over 400 megawatts of modules monthly, with more than 80 truckloads dispatched daily to ensure smooth operations.

“JA Solar’s involvement in this significant project underscores the company’s operational strengths, extensive experience in large-scale initiatives, and steadfast commitment to advancing sustainable development,” Aiqing Yang, Executive President of JA Solar said.
