On January 27, 2025, HyperStrong, a leading provider of battery energy storage systems (BESS), made its debut on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market).
The company’s shares (SHSE: 688411) were issued at approximately $4.23 each and soared to $13.92 by the end of the day, marking a remarkable 229.21 per cent increase from the issue price.
HyperStrong’s market capitalisation now stands at $2.47 billion.
Founded in 2011, HyperStrong has become a key player in the global transition to renewable energy, specialising in energy storage solutions such as liquid-cooling systems and all-in-one charging and storage units for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial applications.
With the growing global demand for renewable energy, the company has positioned itself as a top-tier BESS provider, leveraging innovative technologies in digital battery modelling, energy management, big data, system integration, and testing capabilities.
In 2023, HyperStrong was ranked among the top three BESS integrators worldwide in terms of installed global capacity, according to S&P Global Commodity Insights.
