In Australia, residential energy storage systems are expected to be installed within a single day.
Yet, unlike standard solar PV systems, the complexity of integrating smart meters, batteries, and inverters often slows the process.
Growatt has addressed this challenge with its new All-in-One Energy Solution, a streamlined system that combines a hybrid inverter, lithium battery, smart meter, and pre-wired cabling.
This innovation cuts installation time for inverters and batteries by more than 50 per cent, saving installers significant time and cost.
At the heart of the solution is Growatt’s SPH 3-6KTL-HUB Hybrid Inverter, paired with the ALP 5-40kWh Battery.
Designed for Australian homes, the system offers flexibility with the ALP’s modular 5kWh design, which can expand up to 40kWh by connecting eight battery units.
With a PV input current of up to 16A, a 600V input voltage, and an IP66 rating for durability, the system is built to perform reliably, even in harsh Australian conditions.
To simplify installation further, Growatt has integrated a pre-configured smart meter that connects seamlessly at the main switchboard. Installers only need to handle the CT connection, with most cabling and settings already in place.
The system also features one-click diagnosis, automatically scanning for common issues like communication errors, battery connection problems, or charge irregularities.
This immediate feedback enables installers to resolve issues quickly, eliminating guesswork and minimizing delays.
Efficiency gains don’t stop there. Pre-wired cables and built-in DC isolators reduce installation time by an additional 30 to 40 minutes.
In the event of an inverter failure, Growatt’s smart bypass function ensures critical loads are automatically switched to grid power, with a manual override included as a backup.
Importantly, the system complies with CSIP-AUS standards, meeting grid connection requirements in South Australia and Victoria.
Growatt’s solution is the result of 18 months of collaboration with Australian installers, distributors, and industry organisations.
By focusing on local needs, the company has created a system that not only simplifies installations but also reduces costs for both installers and homeowners.
The launch of Growatt’s All-in-One Energy Solution marks a significant step forward for residential solar in Australia.
By combining performance, durability, and ease of installation, Growatt is helping to make energy storage faster, smarter, and more accessible than ever before.
