Growatt unveils versatile inverter for Australian businesses

Global renewable energy leader Growatt is poised to launch its latest product in Australia, the MID 10-30KTL3-XH inverter.

This new offering is designed to cater to small and medium-sized commercial and industrial applications, with a unique feature that allows for future battery integration.

The MID 10-30KTL3-XH inverter can initially function as a grid-tied inverter, with the capability to seamlessly incorporate a battery system as energy needs evolve.

This flexibility aims to provide customers with a future-proof solution for their renewable energy requirements.

Growatt has made specific modifications to meet Australian market regulations. The 10kW model, MID 10KTL3-XH, has an apparent power rating of 9999VA, ensuring compliance with Queensland regulations without additional hardware. The 30kW version offers a 29.9kVA apparent power rating, potentially reducing equipment costs for users.

Technical specifications of the inverter include a 16A high current input, making it compatible with most photovoltaic panels available.

It features three maximum power point tracking (MPPT) inputs, each supporting two strings, for a total of six PV inputs.

This design is intended to maximise the system’s Standard Test Conditions (STC) efficiency.

The inverter is compatible with Growatt’s APX S1 and APX S2 battery systems, supporting up to 30kW of charging capacity.

Battery storage options range from 5kWh to 60kWh, suitable for large residential and small commercial and industrial applications.

Growatt’s products are developed in collaboration with local electricians, councils, and end-users to ensure it meets specific Australian market needs.

According to Growatt, MID 10-30KTL3-XH inverter is a significant step forward for businesses looking to optimise their energy use and adopt renewable energy solutions.
