More than two dozen energy industry CEOs will take centre stage at the upcoming Power + Utilities Australia Leadership Summit in Melbourne next month.
Kicking off the two-day conference on 7 May, SA Power Networks CEO Andrew Bills will deliver a keynote on ‘Delivering a distributed energy future that works for customers’.
This will be followed by a panel featuring senior executives from EnergyQueensland, Transgrid and Ausgrid.
The agenda ramps up on day two, with an opening ‘state of the nation’ panel moderated by former ABC host Jon Faine.
The high-profile panel features Hydro Tasmania CEO Ian Brooksbank, Australian Energy Council’s Sarah McNamara, Beyond Zero Emissions’ Heidi Lee, and Amandine Denis-Ryan from IEEFA. Controversial energy commentator Professor Bruce Mountain will also join the discussion.
Other highlights include presentations from Momentum Energy’s Lisa Chiba on making the energy transition tangible for consumers, and Flowpower’s Matthew van der Linden on driving the transition with the Clean Energy Regulator.
Panels will cover the future of renewable gas with CS Energy’s Darren Busine, as well as Australia’s readiness for an electric vehicle revolution featuring NRMA Energy’s Carly Irving-Dolan.
Rounding out the agenda, ZEN Energy CEO Anthony Garnaut will discuss applying regulation to promote the energy transition.
Over 120 speakers representing the energy value chain will unite to debate the key challenges of Australia’s electricity transition, alongside 80 plus exhibitors showcasing the latest industry products and services.
The Power + Utilities Australia Leadership Summit will take place on 7-8 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Registrations are now open.
