Consolidated Power Projects Australia Pty Ltd (CPP) has secured a position on Transgrid’s new multi-year Construction Services Panel Agreement (CSPA), strengthening its role in delivering high-voltage infrastructure across New South Wales.
The CSPA has an initial three-year term, with the option to extend to five years. It enables CPP to tender for a broad portfolio of works critical to the state’s energy transition.
Under the panel arrangement, CPP will be invited to deliver key components of Transgrid’s transmission network expansion. This includes transmission line works such as civil works, tower construction, electrical installation, insulation, and system testing. CPP will also take on substation and switching station projects, including asset life extension, system integration, metering upgrades, and communication systems.
The agreement also covers design and construct packages, such as the delivery of new substations, installation of major equipment, and augmentation of existing infrastructure. In addition, CPP could be engaged for early-stage works including feasibility studies, concept designs, and minor upgrade projects.
Transgrid’s panel model is designed to streamline procurement, promote collaboration, and ensure delivery partners are pre-qualified for major infrastructure rollouts. It is also intended to reduce delivery risk in the face of skills shortages and increasing project complexity.

CPP, which has previously delivered substation and transmission projects for Transgrid, joins a select list of contractors under the CSPA framework.
Its panel inclusion follows an evaluation of capabilities across safety, engineering delivery, project management, and compliance with Transgrid’s grid reliability and environmental standards.
