Australia’s most recognised wind energy mapping resource is set to return in 2026, continuing its role as a key reference tool for industry professionals, policymakers and project developers.
The annual Australian Wind Map, widely displayed across offices and worksites throughout the renewable energy sector in Australia, will be distributed with the June edition of ecogeneration magazine.
The June edition will feature all major wind farms across the country, drawing from reliable data provided by the Clean Energy Council to deliver an up-to-date snapshot of country’s expanding wind generation landscape.
As wind capacity continues to grow alongside the country’s broader energy transition ambitions, the ecogeneration wind map provides a practical and visual overview of wind project distribution through animated a visual to support industry project planning, stakeholder engagement and market awareness.
The 2026 wind map offers a limited number of commercial partnership opportunities. This allows organisations in the clean energy sector to place their company logo and details on the wind map. This shows alignment with ecogeneration values focused on harvesting and sharing information about Australia’s fast-growing clean energy sector, encompassing wind.
The wind map will be shared across ecogeneration media platforms (spanning print, digital and newsletter channels). This ensures widespread distribution to targeted industry subscribers, readers and stakeholders across the clean energy value chain, from executive decision-makers to on-the-ground installers and engineers. The industry resource is set to remain in circulation for up to 12 months.
