Antaisolar launches intelligent tracking system ‘AT-Spark’

Antaisolar officially launched its next-generation intelligent solar tracking system, AT-Spark, during the online Spark ON global launch event. Designed for utility-scale solar plants, AT-Spark meets the growing demand for higher energy yield and lower levelised cost of energy (LCOE), offering a fully integrated solution that optimises performance throughout the project lifecycle.

According to Standard and Poor’s (S&P), global photovoltaic (PV) installations are expected to reach 727 gigawatts (GW) by 2030, with utility-scale solar plants accounting for 45 per cent of the total. In this trend, AT-Spark sets a new benchmark for next-generation solar tracking systems – combining structural innovation, intelligent control, and lifecycle service.

Enhanced structural design for greater stability and cost efficiency

AT-Spark features a multi-slew drive system and Antaisolar’s self-innovated octagonal torque tube – improving stiffness by 40 per cent, strength by 50 per cent, while cutting material costs by 30 per cent. Its optimised structure enables a 143 metre tracker span, reducing pile use by 20%. With 145 millimetres (mm) and 170 mm shaft options, AT-Spark adapts to various terrains and wind conditions.

Innovative bearing design ensures faster installation

AT-Spark utilises a newly patented dual-spherical bearing design that automatically adjusts to terrain slopes, minimising manual alignment. Its modular, quick-install bearing housing improves installation efficiency by about 25 per cent, significantly reducing construction time and labor costs.

SmartTrail™ Control System: Boosting ROI with intelligence

Equipped with the SmartTrail™ control system, which integrates Antaisolar’s advanced tracking algorithm to optimise module angles based on direct, diffuse, and reflected irradiance, AT-Spark effectively boosts energy yield. The system also features four intelligent protection modes that automatically respond to extreme weather such as wind, snow, flood, and hail. Having passed 42 extreme tests, it offers IP65/IK07 protection, industrial-grade components, and encrypted data communication. The mobile app, SCADA Station, and SCADA Remote enable real-time monitoring, remote control, and intelligent operations and maintenance management.
