On the 23 June, EcoGeneration hosted a Webinar on the ‘The Future of Battery Storage’. The Webinar was presented by Sean Jobe, Business Development Manager at Ecoult.

Lead-acid battery production today is more than 7 times larger than the next largest battery chemistry. In the presentation Sean gave an overview of the lead-acid industry, and how Ultra Battery can bridge the gap to the new emerging energy storage applications that require partial state of charge.

Exciting new developments are emerging that are giving lead-acid capabilities to outperform other chemistries including lithium-ion in both deep cycle and partial-charge applications. Sean Jobe talked about how the Ultra Battery is re-inventing what lead-acid can do and  explored the potential for Ultra Battery in the battery industry and how it could revolutionise the energy storage playing field.
