Commercial solar company Solgen Energy and residential rooftop solar installer Mark Group have joined forces to create Solgen Energy Group.
“In today’s fast-paced and constantly evolving world, Mark Group and Solgen Energy’s separate reach and capabilities would only get us so far,” said Group CEO David Brown. “With our rebranding, we are aligning two companies to widen our ability to power more economies and Australian residents to switch to solar.
“The Solgen Energy Group demands a lot more than just being a provider of solar power. We’re engineers, specialists, salespeople, project managers, installers and customer relations experts – a full service, well-rounded set of people. And together, our function is to design, build and accelerate the power of clean energy for everyone.”
Aside from landing the $6 million contract for the City of Sydney solar project in 2012, Solgen Energy was last year chosen to install a 1.17 MW solar PV system on the roof of the short-term car park at Adelaide Airport.
As part of the rebranding, the Group has unveiled a new logo and website: www.solgen.com.au
