The EcoGen 2010 Post-Election Briefing with Ian Porter
Wed, 25 August 2010
While the final result of the Federal Election remains unknown, one thing is certain – you’ll get the answers at EcoGen 2010.
EcoGen 2010, held from 5–8 September at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, couldn’t have come at a better time.
Ian Porter, CEO of the Alternative Technology Association (ATA), will give the post-Federal election briefing at EcoGen 2010, analysing the relevant policies of the major parties, in particular those of the party that forms government; and explaining the impacts these will have for the clean energy and energy efficiency industries.
At this critical time, EcoGen 2010 will provide the forum for the industry to come together; hear from key industry experts; and engage in discussion and debate.
Prior to joining the ATA, Ian spent 18 years in the Victorian Government working on sustainable energy policy and climate change. From 2007–09, Ian led the climate change practice of the Nous Group, working with public and private sector organisations to develop policy and respond to major challenges in the fields of climate change and energy.
