Australia’s abundant level of sunshine and drive to become more energy-conscious provides an excellent environment to launch Bosch’s new product portfolio of solar energy into the market. The Bosch brand is synonymous with quality and innovation and there has been a great deal of interest in the market to introduce Bosch’s innovative solar products.
The Bosch solar photovoltaic (PV) product range consists of mono- and poly-crystalline silicon modules, silicon-based micromorphous thin film and copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS/semiconductor material) modules. Bosch guarantees high performance over the typically long investment life, a key factor in assessing the payback period of the system. Cell efficiency performance over the lifetime is critical when considering feed-in tariffs.
Bosch now distributes its solar panels across Australia through six established partners within the wholesale and retail distribution channel. When choosing partners, the company focuses on quality and long-term partnership.
“We examined the potential distribution partners very closely and have selected what we believe are leading distributors,” says Paul Scerri, Regional Sales Manager at Bosch Australia.

“Our partners offer extensive experience in the PV sector and provide optimum service quality for fitters. With their high quality and service standards, these partners are an ideal match for the Bosch brand.”
Distribution partners include Bright Generation, L&H Solar+ Solutions, SolarMatrix, Solco as wholesalers and Laros and SolarShop as retailers. They now all offer their customers high-performance Bosch brand solar panels.
“Together with our partners, we aim to expand considerably in Australia and beyond to New Zealand in the future,” says Mr Scerri.
“In doing so, we will focus on quality, reliability and proximity to our customers.”
A future additional distribution channel for Bosch Australia will also be in developing Bosch’s turnkey solar project business.
