New solar photovoltaic (PV) projects have been announced for Adelaide, South Australia and Williamsdale, ACT.
More than $1.2 million in federal funding will enable solar panels to be installed in three public spaces in Adelaide – the Detroit Diesel Building, an art installation and the Central Market – as a part of the Federal Government’s Solar Cities Program.
BP Solar is providing the 3 x 50 kW PV systems. More information about the Adelaide projects is available at the Solar Cities website.
Meanwhile, ACTEW Corporation is seeking an active participant in the development of commercial solar power generation for the ACT.
