EcoGen 2010 is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally. Mr Dreher will be speaking between 1–2:30 on Day One of EcoGen 2010, 6 September.

Peter has advised in almost 30 renewable energy projects, in particular in the wind energy sector. Most of Peter’s work has been for developers, investors and major suppliers.

Legal work Peter has undertaken in the energy sector includes corporate, finance, general commercial and construction law. This has included documentation for some of the largest wind farms in Australia and New Zealand as well as electricity trading and compliance matters.

Peter has also practised as a lawyer in England and Germany. Apart from his role as a Partner at Rigby Cooke, Peter is his firm’s representative on the Wind Directorate of the Clean Energy Council, President of Australian Business In Europe (Australia), and the Executive Officer of the Australian German Association Inc.

He was also the ultimate Chair of the Board of Management of the Contemporary Europe Research Centre of the University of Melbourne.
