Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has confirmed that under a Coalition government, there would be no carbon pricing implemented.
“There will be no carbon price on consumers under a Coalition government, none whatsoever” said Mr Abbott recently.

The Liberal party has instead announced plans to boost funding of bio-sequestration projects that would see trees and soil playing the major role in emissions abatement.
