The Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG appointed Andreas Nauen as CEO.
Mr Nauen will commence the contract term of three years from 1 July 2010.
Mr Nauen left his role as head of Siemens’ wind power business to take on his new position at REpower Systems, the German wind turbine maker owned by India’s Suzlon.
The current chairman of the Executive Board Per Hornung Pedersen has resigned from his office as CEO but will maintain his role as Chief Market Officer.
