CNPV Solar Power SA, a public limited liability company organised under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, has entered into a long-term strategic partnership agreement with MPower, a leading Australian supplier of renewable energy products, with over 15 years experience in the renewable energy sector.
Under the terms of this strategic agreement, CNPV expects to supply MPower with a total of 30megawatt peak (MWp) of high performance photovoltaic (PV) modules from 2010 to 2012, which includes 5 MWp of expected scheduled delivery during 2010. The remaining 10 MWp and 15 MWp are scheduled for delivery in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
"This new contract will help both partners to grow additional solar projects in markets such as the Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands," stated jointly Zhang Shunfu, CNPV’s CEO and B Veerraju Chaudary, CNPV's COO, CTO and Member of the Board.
Paul Sharp, MPower’s Managing Director and Brian O’Malley, MPower’s General Manager of Sales and Marketing, jointly commented “Renewable energy solutions will no doubt play an increasingly important role in the total energy mix, and MPower is committed to supporting broader adoption of these technologies.
“MPower is thrilled with this new strategic partnership agreement, which we consider to be a continuation of our already strong relationship and are excited to share in the future growth in the region with CNPV.”
