SMA’s Sunny WebBox with Bluetooth is the latest generation in solar photovoltaic (PV) plant monitoring, data storage and remote diagnosis for small to medium plants of up to 100 kilowatts.
The Sunny Portal web interface synthesises and interprets data from the Sunny WebBox via Intelligent Bluetooth communication. This makes plant performance data easily accessible onsite, as well as offsite via remote workstations and through mobile devices.
The Sunny WebBox with Bluetooth integrates seamlessly into solar PV systems, wirelessly linking up to 50 SMA devices within 100 metres, including the Sunny SensorBox with Bluetooth. And by using the SMA Bluetooth Repeater, devices outside 100 metres can also be connected.
The Sunny WebBox with Bluetooth grants free access to SMA’s intuitive online platform, the SMA Sunny Portal, for user-friendly management, monitoring and presentation of solar power plants.

The technology provides data such as inverter yield data per day, month or year at a glance. Sunny Portal also quickly informs solar professionals whether a system’s average anticipated yield has been achieved.
Sunny WebBox with Bluetooth can also reduce the need for onsite maintenance of solar systems. Through regular reports identifying any plant events, Sunny WebBox with Bluetooth allows for remote diagnosis through Sunny Portal.
