EcoGen 2010 is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally. EcoGen 2010 will be held from 5-8 September at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, and seeks to tackle the issues facing the clean energy industry and find the solutions.

Joachim commenced his career in the wind industry as a technician in Denmark more than 13 years ago.

Since then, he has held positions of increased responsibility and managed the installation, service and operation of wind farms around the globe.

Joachim joined Suzlon Energy Australia in 2006 as the Installation and Service Manager, initially with responsibility for the AGL Hallett 1 wind farm.

Today, as General Manager of Suzlons Operations Maintenance and Services and a member of the organisation’s Executive Leadership Team, Joachim leads a team of over 130 engineers and technicians who install, operate, service and maintain Suzlon’s wind turbine fleet in Australia.

In addition, he provides strategic, operational direction and support to Suzlon Brazil and the organisation’s global services.
