EcoGen 2011is pleased to announce that ARC Renewable Chief Operating Officer James Riddell will address delegates at the clean energy industry’s premier Conference and Exhibition, to be held from 5–7 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mr Riddell will present on solar thermal power generation and thermal storage, with a particular focus on its viability as a renewable alternative to traditional remote power systems.
He will make the case for an approach centred on the use of micro-CSP combined with thermal energy storage to replace both electricity generation produced by a combination of solar photovoltaic or wind energy and diesel.
Mr Riddell has worked on remote water supply and renewable energy projects in 71 countries over the last 20 years. He began designing Organic Rankine Cycle turbines and solar thermal collector technology in 1998, as well as a unique vertical axis urban wind generator.
