EcoGen 2010 is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally.

James Morgan-Payler will be speaking between 1:00–2:30pm in a session titled ‘Getting renewable energy projects off the ground’ on Day Two of EcoGen 2010, 7 September.

James brings significant experience in commercial drafting, negotiation and advice on major projects including the Laverton North Natural Gas Power Station in Melbourne, the Hallett Wind Farm in South Australia, the Bogong Hydro Electric Power Development in Victoria, the East Link Motorway in Melbourne and the South Australian Desalination project.

James has a broad practice with a focus on the construction of major infrastructure and in particular the preparation and negotiation of EPC and O&M Contracts for power generation infrastructure. James has prepared and negotiated sophisticated EPC Contracts (and related documentation) for a wide variety of power generation facilities including gas, hydro, wind farms, wave plants and solar.

James has also drafted numerous significant construction-related contracts and provided general commercial and dispute-related advice for many of the leading players in Australia’s energy and construction and engineering industry.
