Fronius has recently launced an app for iPhones, iPads, iPods and Android smartphones that allows photovoltaic systems data to be visualised easily and free of charge.
The data made available via the new app is from Fronius’ web portal Solar.web. Fronius’ Solar.web went online in 2007. It enables photovoltaic (PV) systems to be monitored, analysed and compared quickly and easily. If several systems are integrated, they can all be accessed from just one login. The Fronius demo systems are free to use.
Fronius’ Solar.web is available at http://solarweb.fronius.com
The Solar.web app is the mobile version of the online service and is also free of charge. It can be installed very easily on the iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android smartphones. It allows users to keep tabs on the energy yield of their PV system.
The app for iPhone, iPad and iPod is available online from the iTunes store. The app for the Android operating system can be downloaded from the Download area or from the Android market.
