EcoGen 2011 welcomes wind power manager Josef Tadich

EcoGen 2011 is pleased to announce that Josef Tadich, Technical Manager of Asia Pacific at Alstom Wind, will address delegates at the clean energy industry’s premier Conference and Exhibition, to be held from 5–7 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mr Tadich will provide a snapshot of the latest trends in wind turbine development, and ask how big those turbines can become in the Australian context.
His presentation will focus on the development of wind turbines over the last two decades, with discussion of the key drivers of technological development over this period.
Mr Tadich began his career in the helicopter industry, with six years in the Royal Australian Navy on the Seahawk program specialising in rotary aerodynamics and structural design.

He moved to Denmark in 2004 with DNV Wind Energy, working in onshore and offshore wind turbine loading and structural design certification. In 2008, Mr Tadich returned to Australia to work with Roaring40s as their principal engineer, and has since joined Alstom Wind as Technical Manager for the Asia Pacific region.
