EcoGen 2011 is pleased to announce that Bruce Ebzery, National Sales Manager for Utilities at RedFlow, will address delegates at the clean energy industry’s premier Conference and Exhibition, to be held from 5–7 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mr Ebzery’s presentation will investigate the efficacy of recent installations of solar photovoltaic residential units, in a case study about the Victorian Government’s Bushfire Response Taskforce.
These installations comprise RedFlow’s Zinc Bromide Flow Batteries with solar photovoltaic panels and standby diesel genset. Mr Ebzery will describe this unique strategy and its associated system configuration.
The installations highlighted in the case study will provide useful data on the daily photovoltaic energy captured and released, and recorded via real-time communications and control.
Mr Ebzery manages RedFlow’s sales of electricity storage solutions to electrical distribution utilities and large corporate customers in Australia and New Zealand. He has 20 years’ business development experience in selling engineering services and products.
2011 has been a busy year for Mr Ebzery, as he has presented at a workshop on issues in utility deployment of distributed energy storage systems in the United States. He spoke at the Energy Networks Association seminar on sub-station battery storage and was a key feature of the United States Storage Week special on Storage Opportunities ‘Down Under’.
