EcoGen 2010 is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally.

Mr White will speaking during an energy efficiency session between 9–10:30am on Day Three of EcoGen 2010, 8 September. Professor White leads a team of researchers who create change towards sustainable futures through independent, project-based research.

With over 20 years experience in sustainability research, Professor White’s work focuses on achieving sustainability outcomes at least cost for a range of government, industry and community clients across Australia and internationally. This includes both the design and evaluation of programs for improving resource use efficiency and an assessment of their impact.

Professor White is Cluster Leader for the Intelligent Grid Research Program (iGrid), a three-year investigation into the evolution of electricity networks towards smaller, greener energy generators and advanced control systems. Seven teams from five universities and the CSIRO are collaborating on iGrid to quantify the benefits and manage the impacts of new systems and approaches.
