The property is an existing office building owned by Local Government Super and located in the commercial zone at Macquarie Park, near North Ryde, NSW.
eco-Kinetics has installed on the building, a 100 kW solar system that includes 555 photovoltaic modules, and 99 kW grid connected inverters installed on a purpose built frame on the roof of the building.
The solar panels will generate 134 MW hours of electricity a year and save 142 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
The solar panel project was partially funded by a grant from the Federal Government’s Green
