The Graduate Certificate in Building Energy Analysis – which is specifically targeted to engineers, facilities engineers, building designers and similar professionals – seeks to ensure a skilled workforce to assist in the achievement of energy efficiency targets.

The Clean Energy Council, in partnership with the National Centre of Sustainability at Swinburne University and the Centre for Design at RMIT, is developing the course to be accredited through the Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority, and ultimately to be delivered through registered training organisations nationally. The Clean Energy Council will accredit professionals who complete the course. The project is funded by the National Framework for Energy Efficiency (NFEE) through Sustainability Victoria.

The course design is almost complete, and is intended to pilot the course with a limited number of participants in April/May in Melbourne.
