The All-Energy Australia Expo and Conference will be held on 7 and 8 October 2009 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The latest technology will be showcased at the free, business-to-business sustainable energy expo and conference.
The organisers are planning a mix of topical plenary sessions and parallel workshops. The workshops will look at all forms of clean energy including emerging combustion and carbon capture technologies, geosequestration, biosequestration, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources including geothermal, onshore and offshore wind, wave, tidal, hydro, hydrogen and fuel cells, solar, and biofuels.
State Energy and Resources Minister Peter Batchelor said “The Brumby Government is taking action to make Victoria a world leader in renewable and clean energy development and our success at attracting this event is a major coup for the state.”
The Victorian Government will be the principal sponsor of the event that will bring together investors, researchers, academics, industry and government representatives from Australia and overseas to discuss and view the latest clean energy technology.
“It will be the biggest of its kind in Australia and will focus on clean and sustainable sources of energy.”
Regional Director of all-Energy Australia Boyd Dale said “The Australian event will focus on clean combustion technologies, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.”
The aim of All-Energy Australia is to act as a forum for discussion and networking between those involved in and looking to get involved in the industry said Mr Dale.
EcoGeneration is an official All-Energy Australia media partner, with in depth coverage leading up to and wrapping up the exhibition and conference.
The event organisers are also responsible for organising All-Energy UK, Europe’s largest all-renewable energy exhibition and conference, running in Aberdeen, Scotland, since 2001. In 2008 All-Energy UK attracted nearly 5,000 participants, 380 exhibitors and 220 speakers from more than 60 countries.
